Hi Friends & Family,

I am looking forward to participating in the Run for Mercy 5K and Family Walk on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Yes, I will be walking without the crutches that I have been on for the past 5 months!  Run for Mercy is an annual event designed to raise funds and awareness for the Mercy Ministries homes. Mercy Ministries offers a free of charge residential program that helps young women between the ages of 13-28 who face life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, physical and sexual abuse, depression, and unplanned pregnancy. The Mercy Ministries program is voluntary, Christ-centered, completely free of charge, and lasts approximately six months. Because we are a Christian non-profit organization, our support must come from private sources such as individuals and businesses.

Please help support me in reaching my goal to benefit this great cause. Any gift you make will help transform a young woman’s life and restore her hope!  If you would like more information about Mercy Ministries and the beautiful new home that is opening in Lincoln, CA in October...just let me know!
