I am participating in fundraising efforts for Run for Mercy on April 11, 2010 in St.Louis, Missouri. Run for Mercy is an annual event designed to raise funds for Mercy Ministries’ homes. Mercy Ministries is a non-profit organization designed to meet the needs of young women ages 13-28 facing life-controlling problems such as eating disorders, abusive relationship patterns, addictions, self-harm and depression.

Please help support me in reaching my goal and helping this great cause. Any gift you make will help a young woman discover the purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive citizen.

Why raise money?
Well...
It's simple! I believe God is calling me to take care of our hurting world! Mercy Ministry is very close to my heart. I once had trouble with an eating disorder and depression, but because of God's grace and loving family, friends, and a church that came behind me and helped me see the freedom in Jesus I was set free from the chains of bondage. Some, however, do not have it as good as me. Some do not have family and friends to pray and love them out of their circumstances. So these hurting people need a refuge. They need a place where they can go and get the help they need. Mercy Ministries is that place. I want to be a part of Mercy Ministries and help younge women, like myself, find the only true freedom from their troubles, which is in Christ Jesus!!! Please come join me and raising money for this wonderful ministry!
